My name is Angel. I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley, and this started with an iPhone 15 in my hand. I was scrolling social media and something clicked. Athletes mid-action, the way the color hit, the composition locked in by photographers covering the Olympics, the NBA, the NFL. I kept going back to those images. I couldn't stop looking. That curiosity is what pulled me in, and I decided I wanted to be the one behind the lens.
I'll be honest, my early work was rough. A lot of it needed to be redone from scratch. I spent a long time figuring out what I actually wanted the image to feel like, not just what looked good on the feed. I stopped trying to replicate other people's formulas and started pulling from different editing approaches until something that was mine came through. Patience did more for me than any tutorial.
What I'm after is simple. When you hand me your athlete, I want the final image to make a D1 scout or a program director stop scrolling. Not because it's overworked, but because the moment is real and it's presented with intent. That's the standard I hold myself to. Every frame should feel like the kind of image you'd see on a recruiting profile that gets noticed.
That's the mission. Make the work genuine. Make the athlete look like who they are at their best.
